About Us

Denver Tamil Church is as an independent, non denominational body of believers established upon the teachings of the Jesus and Apostles as many  relate to as, “The New Testament Doctrine. We in Denver Tamil Church identify our faith with the same faith of the early church  established on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2) and to promote the kingdom of God with Tamil expatriates,  other nationals, natives and throughout the world.

 Our Belief & Purpose

We believe there is One God and Father, who is Infinite in Power, Holy in Nature, revealed to us as the Father in creation, as the Son Jesus in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in His grace and that in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. According to Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 9:6,7; John 1:1,14,18; and Colossians 2:9.

  • Worship Almighty God our Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, through the Holy Spirit

  • Promote fellowship and edification amongst believers

  • Passionately teach every individual (Mat 28:20), God’s complete plan of Salvation (Acts 2).

  • Disciple them to live a holy, consecrated life unto God through love, worship and a commitment to prayer.

  • Foster unity, love and fellowship within the Denver Tamil community and beyond by reaching out to their needs and by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • Plant churches throughout the world through missions and evangelism (Luke 24:47,48)

  • Demonstrate the power of His resurrection through signs, wonders and miracles in people’s lives (Mat 10:6-8)

  • Deliver the oppressed from the powers of the darkness (Mark 16:17)

  • Build a Biblical Discipleship Church for national and international missions and to train people in missions, preaching, mentoring and spreading the Word of God (I Pet 2:9, Rom 12:7,11)

  • Organize outreaches and evangelistic campaigns (Acts 8:4,5)

  • Reaching out and praying for the needs of the Indian community (Mat 18:18)

 From The DTC Pastor

Dear Family of Denver Tamil Church!

Greetings in the abundant name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

“As for you also, because of the blood of my covenant with you. I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to your stronghold, O prisoners of hope: today I declare that I will restore to you double” (Zechariah 9:11,12).

The psalmist explains the Babylonian captivity in Psalm 137: the Israelites were under Babylonian captivity where they did not have daily sacrifices, fellowship, and worship.  Their captors asked them to sing the songs of Zion where there were no feasts and fellowship. They mocked their customs and rituals and their family lives. Family members were scattered in different areas due to war and captivity.

In the midst of all their struggles, they remembered Zion.  Prophet Zechariah assured them by calling them “O prisoner of hope”. There is hope in the midst of captivity. Today we may not have war calamities. However, we are undergoing pandemic calamities; we do not have worship services in our churches or eucharistic celebrations.  Fellowship and prayer meetings are not held in the Church, and we are longing for them.

God is giving hope to us in this calamity that he will restore double all that we lost in the past.  Job was restored double in the scripture, and like that God will help us restore whatever we lost. Our health, our business, and the promotion in the job and the spiritual life God will provide twofold blessings in this month.  Amen.

God bless you.
Ps. David Kennedy
